Mount Kisco
Mount Kisco is a quaint, village-style city in the heart of Westchester and is a wonderful place to raise a family. It has the benefits and vibe of a thriving city, with the scenery of suburbia. Mount Kisco Hebrew Congregation, located in the town’s center, is led by a dynamic and devoted Rabbi and Rebbetzin, who have attracted young couples to this close- knit, warm kehilla.
Local communities host excellent day schools such as Westchester Day, Westchester Hebrew High, Westchester Torah Academy, Kinneret Day School, SAR and Bi-Cultural Day School, which are all within a half hour, Monsey schools are just a 35-minute drive.
We are less than 1 mile from a nationally-recognized, top-tier hospital. An hour or less from Queens/Five Towns and Manhattan, kosher amenities abound 20 minutes away, including restaurants in New Rochelle/ Stamford and a huge kosher supermarket in Scarsdale. Local supermarkets stock Kosher meats and food. Get ‘‘Motzai Pesach” pizza in Monsey!
Now’s the time to buy in Mount Kisco! Housing near Shul includes apartments and condominiums (starting at $99K) and single-family houses (starting at $450K). Buy a 5-bedroom renovated home on 3/4 acres land for less than $600K! How many Orthodox communities within an hour’s train ride to Mid-Manhattan (35-45 minutes by car) offer such large, scenic properties homes in these ranges? Our greatest asset is the warmth that you feel from everyone in our shul.
We look forward to welcoming you!
