Rabbi Simcha Willig
on May 5-6 for Shabbat Acharei - Kedoshim
Rabbi Simcha Willig is an instructor in Yeshiva University's James Striar School/Mechina program where he teaches courses in Jewish Ethics, Jewish Philosophy, Rabbinic Judaism, and Biblical themes. He is also on the Judaic Studies faculty at Westchester Hebrew High School and is a former assistant rabbi at Young Israel of Scarsdale. Rabbi Willig received his rabbinc ordination from Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and he received a masters in secondary education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education. In the Fall of 2016 he completed his doctoral dissertation from NYU's Education and Jewish Studies program entitled "Gadlut Ha-Adam and the Greatness of Humanity: A Textual Analysis of Rabbi Nathan Tzvi Finkel's Psycho-Religious Educational Philosophy." Rabbi Simcha is married to Sari Stein and they reside in New York with their four children, Emunah, Azarya, Roey, and Lielle.
Judy Mason will be observing the Yahrzeit of her mother. Mr. Katz will be observing the Yahrzeit of his brother. Please help us insure that we have a Shabbat morning Minyan. Judy and Mr. Katz will be sponsoring the Kiddush on Shabbat.
