We help others
Charitable giving, community service and volunteering are ways we help others.
MKHC members join personal and group mitzvah missions.
We visit victims of terrorism in Israel, including wounded Israeli
soldiers, and listen to their stories of pride and
personal rehabilitation. We've donated a Torah in memory of a victim of the
intifada. We personally delivered a Torah to the
Israeli army. While in Sderot, we delivered
funds raised by Northern Westchester synagogues demonstrating our solidarity with brethren under daily attack. After Hurricane
Katrina, we joined a New Orleans Orthodox community to assist in clean-up and visited their 100 year old Orthodox Shul
detroyed by the flood.
Locally, we sponsor many community events, lectures, house a Jewish
learning program for learning challenged children, and promote
traditional Jewish values and rituals in Northern Westchester. While
helping others in need, we too have grown personally and spiritually.
Continued participation with Israelite, Emunah, One Family Fund, Chai
Lifeline and other causes to help those in need.
